How to file a copyright notice or counter-notice for material hosted on Roco Kingdom Guide.

SiteLast updated: ~2 min read

Our position on copyright

Roco Kingdom Guide respects the rights of artists, writers and companies. This is a fan resource: the guides are written by us, and the game names, artwork and trademarks we refer to belong to their owners. We aim to credit sources, quote only what commentary needs, and remove material promptly when a rights holder asks.

This page explains how to report infringing material and how to respond if yours was removed.

What this site does and does not host

The site publishes text, tables and original layout. It does not host game clients, installers, patches, ROMs, account databases, cheat tools or downloadable game assets, and it does not link to places that offer them. Any screenshot is used to illustrate a mechanic under commentary, never offered as a download.

If the file you want removed is hosted elsewhere, this site cannot help; contact that host.

Filing a notice

Send copyright complaints to yqin1090@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice". Include all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the work you say is infringed, or a representative list for multiple works.
  • The exact page URL of the material you say is infringing, and where possible the section or paragraph.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address, so we can respond.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may be sent back. If unsure of the requirements, check the guidance published by the U.S. Copyright Office.

Counter-notices

If material you contributed was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court and will accept service of process.

We may forward a counter-notice to the original complainant. Nothing here guarantees restoration; that depends on the facts and on the applicable process.

What happens next

We review notices as quickly as we reasonably can. Where a claim is clear, the usual response is to remove or rewrite the material while we check it, rather than to leave it up during a long exchange. We may ask for clarification, and we may decline requests that are abusive, overbroad or clearly outside copyright.

Accounts are not part of this site, so there is no account to suspend. Instead, we treat repeated or deliberate infringement as grounds for refusing further contributions. Questions about this process, or about attribution on a specific page, go to yqin1090@gmail.com.
